#1 Application
If you want to cool a whole project in shopping mall or station waiting room, the household split type air conditioners aren’t suitable. As their application areas are so different.
Application areas for normal air condioner: 9000btu (1hp) 8~12m2; 12000btu(1.5hp) 10~20m2; 18000btu(2hp) 18~27m2; 24000btu(3hp) 25~36m2,etc. HP means Horse Power.

Different refrigerants have different prices, also most countries are forbidden R22 refrigerant, so double check your market or government the related policy, don’t make big mistake.
R410a and R32 refrigerants (household air conditioner) are commonly used for most countries and areas nowadays. Well, both R410a and R32 have different price and parameter, you should notice that.
For commercial air conditioner, there are more refrigerant options, like R404, R290,R134a,R449,R448, let’s know your choice or project details.
#3 Inverter or Non-inverter

#7 Ambient Temperature
For normal areas max ambient temperature at +45°C, use T1 compressor air conditioner is OK; But for max ambient temperature at +55°C (Like many Middle East countries, Sahara African countries), must use T3 tropical compressor air conditioner, which can work in so high temperature without issue.
#1 Package
For a brand new air conditioner, the package should be new,no broken or damage, and no disassemble at all.
#2 Working Performance
You must feel cooling (or heating) after air condtioner runs in 1~3 minutes, if not, its performance won’t be good.
#3 Leaking Water
After running the air conditioner for 5-10 minutes, if have continuous water leakage in room, then the product should have defect. Probably connection leakage, or air conditioner itself has issue. You should ask the supplier for help.
#4 Remote Control
Check the remote control if it’s workable, if not, probably has no battery or remote control is broken. For brand new air conditioner,that is unacceptable.
#5 Noise
Brand new air conditioner shouldn’t have a big noise when runs in 30 minutes, otherwise the compressor or fan (motor) uses poor quality, this kind of air conditioner is not qualified.
#6 Smell
Brand new air conditioner will release smells when first several days, if the smells keep for a long time, like half month or more,then the main parts probably have issue, like fan,fan motor,compressor,etc
#7 Compressor switches off
For non-inverter air conditioner that is normal, but for inverter air conditioner that is abnormal.
Because when reached the set temperature,inverter air conditioner will always run with a lower stable frequency, not stop working at all !
#8 Air conditioner jumps
When buying air conditioner at summer,unqualifed air conditioner will jump sometimes because the higher ambient temprature (for most highest tempretuare areas the ambient tempreature can hit +50°C).The reason is no use tropical T3 compressor.
